Welcome to Easeride ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our mobile application ("App") and related services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms outline the rules governing your use of our services and constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Easeride. Please review them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Easeride App, creating an account, or accessing our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue using the App immediately. We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at our discretion. Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes acceptance of those modifications.
2. User Accounts
a. Account Responsibility:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted through your account. You agree to promptly notify us of any unauthorized access or use of your account. Easeride is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to secure your account information.
b. Account Information:
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering for an account. You are responsible for keeping this information up to date. Providing false or misleading information may result in the suspension or termination of your account.
3. Use of Services
a. Booking Rides:
By using the App to request a ride, you authorize Easeride to connect you with an available driver. The cost of the ride will be determined based on distance, time, and other applicable factors, and you will be shown the fare before confirming your ride request.
b. Payments and Charges:
All payments for rides must be made through the App. You agree to pay all applicable fees, including ride fares, taxes, and any additional charges, such as cancellation fees or surcharges. Pricing may be adjusted at our discretion, and any changes will be clearly communicated before ride confirmation.
c. Independent Drivers:
Drivers are independent contractors and not employees, agents, or representatives of Easeride. We provide a platform that facilitates the connection between riders and drivers. As such, Easeride is not liable for the conduct, actions, or performance of the drivers.
4. User Conduct
By using the Easeride App, you agree to the following:
Easeride reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we determine that your conduct violates these Terms or otherwise threatens the safety or integrity of the platform.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
a. Ride Cancellations:
You may cancel a ride request before it has been accepted by a driver. If you cancel after a driver has accepted the request or while the driver is en route, you may be subject to a cancellation fee.
b. Refunds:
All payments made through the App are final. Refunds will only be issued in exceptional circumstances, such as service failures or technical errors. To request a refund, you must contact our customer support team at [support email].
6. Limitation of Liability
Easeride provides the App and its services "as is" and makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the performance, availability, or reliability of the platform. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, or personal injury.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Easeride, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from or related to your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, trademarks, and intellectual property rights associated with the Easeride App are the exclusive property of Easeride or its licensors. You may not use, copy, distribute, or modify any content from the App without prior written consent from us. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to the App at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to breaches of these Terms or misconduct. Upon termination, your right to use the App and services will cease immediately. Any ongoing obligations, such as payment of outstanding balances, will survive the termination of your account.
